Form
In the form's blue text box you can enter specific forms like binary or rondo. If the piece is short it might be more valuable to enter the melodic structure - such as A A B B’. The apostrophe next to the B indicates a variation of section B.
The form is best displayed with a space between each letter. No matter what you do, be consistent.
Song/Game Type
Use the drop down menu to select one of the pre-entered activities or type a new activity/use in the blue text box.
Theme/Subject
Use the drop down menu to select one of the pre-entered common themes of songs. The drop down menu will appear above the Theme/Subject blue text box. You can also add your own by typing the blue text box.
Theme Subset/UOI
The subset is useful to further categorise songs. If you’re in a IB-PYP school you can add the Units of Inquiry (UOI).
Grade/Year/Age
Use the rolling menu to select the Grade, Year or Age the song is suited to. Tap on 'Done' once you've made your selection.
